INTRODUCING DECENTRALIZED STRUCTURES AND SELF-ORGANIZED WORK

In order to establish meaningful and functional structures, it is essential to understand how organizations work. Sascha and Torben imparted this knowledge to us practically, patiently and with a lot of humor and joy. Not only did we benefit from this during the actual collaboration, but we can also use this understanding for all follow-ups and new projects in the area of organizational development.

Post-corona workshops "Hybrid Leadership"

This was Universal Music's first project with subject:RESOUL and we felt in very good hands throughout the entire process of creating and implementing.

It was particularly important to us in advance to create a workshop that would provide practical and, above all, tangible tools and use cases for our managers.

Thanks to the toolbox developed in the project, our managers continue to use the individual elements long after the workshops and have already been able to integrate many of the tools into their everyday work.

Julia was able to understand our culture and address the needs of our managers in a very short time. The participating managers found the workshop with Julia instructive and valuable, so that their feedback was consistently positive and it was very worthwhile for them to take the time for the workshop.

Improving the feedback culture

Collaboration with subject:RESOUL has been super valuable for Babbel. We had 4 packed Feedback sessions with Martin Bersem that was really well received by everyone - with requests for more sessions so more people could take part in it!

Introducing sociocratic development talks

Working with Stefan and Maria has played such an instrumental role in securing the health of the team and has strengthened each leader’s understanding of their strengths and areas of improvement as we continue to work in a virtual environment going forward into 2021. It was initially difficult to carve out time for reflection because we have so many competing priorities, product launches, and marketplace events that impact our daily work life. However, the time we took to examine our culture, unspoken and spoken working norms and identify gaps that we wanted to overcome, was completely worth it. 

The feedback we have received has been overwhelmingly positive. Individuals have told me personally that they feel like their voice is heard and recognize that as a leadership team, our number one priority is them.

Implementing a sociocratic circle structure

We have experienced working with subject:RESOUL as enormously supportive and enriching in times of change and rapid growth of our organization. The consultants took a lot of time for getting to know the organizational and team structure as well as the culture, in order to then develop solutions on how we can meet the diverse challenges together with us based on that.

Especially through adapting their consulting approach to our needs and resources, we had the possibility to react to changes in a flexible way. The friendly companionship and open communication of the consultants encouraged us and the team to dare implementing the new organizational system. By professionally moderating us they also gave us the opportunity of openly addressing and resolving structural conflicts and uncertainties.

Reaching the goal through experience and empathy

In a project lasting several months, subject:RESOUL accompanied me and our organization extremely successfully through an intensive structural change process. In doing so, the consultants ingeniously got to grips with the specifics of our organization at the interface of science, politics, business and civil society and first of all listened attentively - and on this basis confidently led us to the right questions and then to the right answers for us.

Changing roles and the culture of collaboration

In our team, we faced the challenge of maintaining the department's ability to function and keeping up the high quality of its work results, despite significant staff reductions. At the same time, we aimed at preparing employees mentally for more frequent and far-reaching changes in their working environment, based on the ongoing modernization process of the bank. At the same time, every individual was supposed to increase their scope of action.

With the help of subject:RESOUL we could master the painful departure from teams and old role patterns which had existed for at least 10 years, as well as the transition to a new, more network-based and active community. Ewa Hüls-Kubisa and Johannes Sattler taught us valuable techniques of working together, brought us face to face, and patiently guided us into unknown territory. Leadership development for green energy

The long-standing and trusting cooperation with subject:RESOUL has brought us an enormous step closer to our goal of actually living leadership. 

We continuously empower our managers and aspiring managers for meeting the expectations placed on them. Participants of the workshops always gave positive feedback on the content, the trusting exchange and the playful and varied way in which content was delivered.

subject:RESOUL analyzed our situation before starting the development measures and conceptually addressed the specific challenges. Development of a new leadership and conversation culture

subject:RESOUL is a consultancy that understands how to create concepts tailored to the needs and language of the client and implement them in a very direct and refreshing way. The consultants have the competence to adapt to the very different skills and needs of a large organization and convey content authentically with a large pool of pictorial and structural methods and techniques.

Especially in the area of cultural values, a realistic concept was developed at Buderus Edelstahl. During the implementation, a lot of sensitivity and very good, practicable methods, such as the calibration concept between manager and employee, were used to create a tool that is understandable and learnable for the organization and will now be a fixed component of our management work.

I would also like to emphasize the professional feedback to us, the client, on the framework conditions and consistent attitudes that are necessary for the success of such a culture change project. The flexibility in the program design has enabled us to let a broad mass of people participate in this program without great expense in maintaining an account operation.

Re-launch of a development program

We have been working with subject:RESOUL for over 9 years now and it is great fun for everyone involved. Career coaching for 60 "Outstanding Performers"

A quantitative as well as qualitative evaluation of the measure was conducted. The coaching offer was rated as the best initiative within the Outstanding Performer offers. 

88% of the participants in the evaluation would recommend the coaching to colleagues. Main reasons: very personal, very professional coaches, structured yet open-ended.

84% of the participants in the evaluation found that this coaching was an appropriate offer for the appreciation of the Outstanding Performers through: individual setting, focus on strengths and the offer of an outside perspective.

When the German magazine brand eins launched their Consultant Ranking in 2014, we were surprised and delighted that our clients and colleagues had chosen our young consulting network, which was only launched in 2011, directly into the list of the best consultancies in Germany.
Since then, we could celebrate every year - just like this year:

Every year, being named in the brand eins consultant ranking is a great joy for us!
This year it also feels a bit like in our early years: In 2018 we changed our name to "subject:RESOUL" and asked ourselves if this new name would already be known enough to be represented in the ranking in 2019. All the more we are pleased that our clients and colleagues know and appreciate us and have voted us directly back into the best list.

We do our work for our clients and they can rate us best. In addition to the overall ranking, customer evaluation is therefore particularly important to us. In 2019 our clients again rated us above the industry average in the customer satisfaction ranking! That is great and a nice reward for our efforts. But we want more. In 2018, we received the highest rating of three points from our clients for our work - and we strive to achieve this every year. The brand eins consultant ranking is created jointly with Statista and is based on recommendations from colleagues and customer experience. In a first survey, partners and project managers from management consultancies are asked to recommend other valued consultancies. Consultancies with a sufficient number of nominations are included in the second round. In the second round, managers of companies are asked about their experiences with these consultancies. Consultancies with sufficiently positive evaluations are included in the final ranking.
