Re-launch of a development program

 

Impetus to the project

Aroundhome is an organization from the B2B e-commerce sector that since its foundation in 2008 (then under the name Beko Käuferportal GmbH) has undergone a rapid development with a strong increase in staff. subject:RESOUL accompanied Käuferportal since 2015 with the design of a leadership development program that started small (3 days) and was gradually increased with relevant topics or adapted to current challenges and new insights from leadership.

Goals of the program include:

  • Provide new leaders with a good overview of contemporary opportunities in leadership

  • To make it as easy as possible to transfer methods, tools and theories into practice

  • To make individual topics of the executives discussable

  • Stimulate networking, expand the network

  • Bringing together different professional perspectives and learning from each other (change of perspective)

  • Since the Corona pandemic: design a setup that is lockdown-proof and can be integrated well into the reality of home office and time-fragmented work


What we did

The development program runs for a total of 9 months. It consists of three content modules:

  • Leadership basics and collaboration

  • Leading teams

  • Leading transformation

These modules are represented by virtual impulse workshops of a total of 14 two- to four-hour sessions. The sessions usually include preparatory tasks, the session itself and tasks or suggestions for practical transfer.

The three modules are framed by a total of four networking events in presence (if current incidence values permit this). The focus here is on exchanging ideas with each other and with the management board. In addition to the impulse workshops, a total of four dates for collegial consultation will take place.


Experience and result

We have been working with Aroundhome since 2015 and are happy that we can continue to accompany the leaders even after many changes in the organization. It was especially great to hear that the current group of leaders had heard so many positive things that they actively asked HR when the next "LeaderGen" group could start with us. In addition, the culture at Aroundhome is very appreciative, friendly and positive. Since the beginning of our collaboration, the managers have treated us with a great deal of openness, curiosity and willingness to experiment. That makes our job twice as much fun - thank you very much!
