Impetus to the project

CLAAS operates in a very dynamic, international environment. The demands on the flexibility, creativity and resilience of employees are constantly growing, and the tense situation in the global economy (keyword: supply chain bottlenecks) contributes its share to the challenges.

In order to cope with this complexity and to be economically successful, a trusting culture of cooperation and a modern understanding of leadership based on trust, openness and result orientation should be created in addition to the support provided by various measures (see below). Frictional losses at the interfaces should be minimized and specialists and managers should be empowered. These goals are reflected in all the measures we have been supporting Claas with since 2016:

  • Junior Management Program

  • International leadership development

  • Organizational development (e.g., implementation of a matrix structure)

  • Various coaching sessions

  • Team development

  • Trainings (e.g. on change management, conflict management, virtual leadership...)


What we did

Projects follow our principle of holistic and integrative program design by:

  • Involving as many perspectives and stakeholders as possible (across hierarchies and divisions).

  • Flipped classroom principle: knowledge transfer takes place before and after the events, joint meetings serve as practical exercises

  • Blended learning: mix of virtual and classroom formats

  • Focus on transfer: All our measures aim to make a tangible difference in practice.


Experience and result

CLAAS has a remarkable corporate culture. Being able to actively participate in this brings joy and inspiring moments again and again, for example when former participants from leadership programs are invited as fireside guests and say with conviction: "Get involved in the topics that are offered.
