To me, meaningful workplaces are places where everyone gets respect for what he or she is – and not only for what he or she can do. In such places you notice a high level of mindfulness and attentiveness for diversity and heterogeneity; people find purpose and meaning in common values and worth-while visions. Furthermore, in such places, the soul is worth more than the ROI. However, soul and great products are not contradictory to each other. Much more, success will follow if you integrate both.
In soulful organisations leaders see their task as identifying the individual potentials of employees and to ensure meaningfulness and self-responsibility. Such leaders form and coach flexible and agile teams. They network their teams across and beyond the own organisation in order to meet the demands of complex markets with a strong diversity of perspectives.
What does YOUR vision of a soulful organisation look like? Let’s find out and create something!
