Accessibility Statement

We strive to design our website to be accessible in accordance with applicable legal requirements for accessibility (in particular the Accessibility Enhancement Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz – BFSG). Our goal is to enable as many people as possible to have unrestricted access to the content and features of our website.

The technical requirements are based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 – Conformity Level AA.

Status of compliance with the requirements

This website currently meets some accessibility requirements.
We are constantly working to identify and remove existing barriers.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, the following restrictions may currently apply:

  • To prevent spam, we use an invisible form field (known as a honeypot). This field is not visible to users or assistive technologies and does not affect the usability of the site.
  • In some places on our website, the colour contrast between the text and the background may not meet the recommended guidelines. This may make the text difficult to read for people with visual impairments.
We are working to improve these contrasts gradually.
  • Our website uses the UIkit 3 framework for slider elements. Certain ARIA attributes (e.g., role, aria-label, tabindex) are automatically generated by the framework. We can only customize these settings to a limited extent. As a result, individual testing tools may report potential deviations from WCAG recommendations. We have verified that the slider’s content remains accessible and usable (e.g., keyboard navigation, screen reader output). If you nevertheless encounter any issues while using the site, please let us know so that we can work together to find a solution.

We are working to resolve these issues as soon as possible.
